Please mark your calendar — the Steelhead Society of BC’s annual Pub Night fundraising event happens February 20, 2019. Once again, we’re hoping you can support this very popular and lively evening.
Pub Night has received tremendous support from you, our members and supporters over the past few years and its success would not be possible without your incredible generosity. We are once again looking for product donations. The SSBC will be hosting a live and silent auction, raffle draws, and much more.
As in recent years, the 2019 fundraiser will focus on raising money for Wild Steelhead Conservation in British Columbia. Through past events, the Steelhead Society has funds for habitat and conservation projects such as bank stabilization/habitat construction on Thompson River tributary streams such as Spius Creek, Coldwater River, and Nicola River. Shovelnose Creek has also been the focus in efforts to save the most important wild steelhead spawning tributary of the upper Squamish River from extreme high water and destruction from slides.
It is with your generous support that these projects can be completed to help a fantastic species fundamental to British Columbia — and one we all cherish. Thank you for your support. (If prearranged, tax receipts can be issued to the donor for the realized dollar amount of the donation.)
Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:
