SSBC AGM : Saturday, January 28, 2017

The SSBC is very pleased  to host John McMillan as our featured 2017 AGM guest speaker. Following his presentation, Greg Wilson  will talk about the COSEWIC process. Sean Bennent and Mike Wallace will give updates on how our habitat projects from previous years  are doing and also talk about this years proposed habitat project on Guichon creek.  There will also be reports from our two branches:  the Northern Branch (Troy Peters, Chair) and also the Vancouver Island Branch in Courtney /Comox (Duncan Lewis, Chair). The Society should be charging an entrance fee as this years presentations will be interesting to say the least.  The only requirement is that you are a SSBC member, and as always, memberships and some swag will be available at the door. Light refreshments and snacks will also be available.  Speaking of doors, the location is the same as always: 8555-198 A Street ( the BCGEU building) just off of 200th in Langley not too far from the Trans Canada Highway.   Mark the date: Sat.
